If you are self-employed; employed part-time; recent high school or college graduate; in between jobs; or an early retiree individual health insurance may be right for you. Please be advised that individual health insurance is not guaranteed. All applicants are subject to underwriting. Health history can result in increases to quoted premiums or even declination of coverage. Insurance companies have the right to void, cancel, reform or rescind coverage after issue if there is false or incomplete information on your application or a family member’s application.

Some applicants may be eligible for guaranteed issue coverage based on HIPAA or COBRA laws. Accepting a temporary or individual health plan may jeopardize your eligibility for these programs.

Do not cancel any coverage you have in place until you have received notice of acceptable coverage and premium rates in writing.
